34 weeks and still chuggin' along
So, I had my 34 week doctor's appointment yesterday. Things mostly checked out good. I am getting nervous, though. My blood pressure was rising again. My weight is down. Her heart rate was 156 bpm, the highest it's ever been. I go back in two weeks from yesterday and start my weeklies.
Her nursery is almost completely done. Our bags are nearly packed. It feels so weird to think that I'm going to be bringing her home in just over a month. A new human is going to be living at my house, with her own room and her own things. There will be this little girl staring up at me, waking me, holding me, needing me. (Not kneading me... anymore.) And then, I'll look like this tired, dilapidated, scared shitless young mom. Incredible.
And, just when I feel like I can't get any bigger, I'm going to keep growing. At 35 weeks (next Tuesday), my uterus will be 35 cm from my pubic bone to the top of my uterus. That's as "tall" as it gets. After that, I just start growing outward. I can't just stop, you mean?! There is no more room for two of us!
In ten days, she'll get her 30 day notice of foreclosure in the mail. Then, her eviction notice will come because we are renovating her little apartment and downsizing the place!
A few more weeks in the oven and she'll be to term, and I'll be waaay past ready to squeeze her little patootie outta there. I'm going to RUN up and down the stairs to my apartment!

My first blogspot blog
I am 34 weeks pregnant today. It's hotter than hell and I am ready to be done. This is our first child, and according to everybody but my dad, it's a girl. We're naming her CadyAnn Michaelle. The three of us are going to be living in a 2 bedroom apartment (Kelly and I already live there), with our two birds, Izzy and Maunie and our kitty, Jinx. Full house, no?
Kel and I don't see each other much these days, we work perfectly opposite schedules.
I work early mornings til about 2 p.m. give or take a half hour to an hour, and he works (when he's not doing OT) 2 p.m. to 11 p.m. We really get to missing each other.
We have been married for just over a year. We tied the knot May 19, 2007, but have been together since December 26, 2003. We met December 17, 2003.
So... that's all for now, since I'm just getting started. Ta ta.
